We’re talking classic blue jeans this spring. The kind that you want to wear over and over again and can rely on day or night when nothing else in your wardrobe feels quite right.

So what’s new, and how best to style it?

Three ways to wear denim now

  1. A loose silk shirt and chunky heels says cool and smart, while a tucked in T-shirt and flat pumps is one everyday option. A little kick flare and unfinished hem adds to the retro feel of these Mos Mosh beauties
  2. Faded light blue (dare we say stone-washed?) is our denim tone of choice right now. And if you feel best in a high waist, then there’s plenty of choice. Match with brights -  neon if you dare - to bring a pop of spring sunshine.
  3. Get dressed up again - you know you want to - and dig out that tailored jacket (shoulder pads anyone?) to take your jeans into smart-and-sassy territory. A confident bootcut line makes heels the ideal footwear choice here.

In menswear we’re excited to be introducing cult denim brand Edwin. Look out for top quality fabric and intense attention to detail: we especially love the ‘Made in Japan’ collection.

Here it’s all about the taper, whether you choose a slim fit or this skinny silhouette from 7 For all Mankind.

Either way, opt for dark indigo denim if you’re going for a smarter image, or stick with faded glory for everyday casual.

And we’d love to see you in one of our stores if you want to find the perfect fit and fabric.

We know that denim never goes out of fashion, but this season it’s most definitely ‘in’.
