It's a shoe thing

It takes a lot to lure us away from our old favourites when it comes to trainers and boots, but we may just have been tempted.

Spring definitely calls for fancy footwear to enhance an outfit; and a change of bag can work wonders - giving a lift to your existing wardrobe staples.

Accessories are the tried and tested way to inject a flash of newness without busting your fashion budget for the season. A carefully chosen bag or boot can shift an outfit in a whole new direction and reset your look. We’re all for it.

So, what has caught our eye?

In shoes, this season we’re loving chunky soles; subtle patterns and textures; hi-tops (of course) and modern mini-stilettos.

When it comes to bags, it’s a story of extremes: look for oversized totes (ever practical) in leather or fabric. While for those who can travel light, for day or evening seek out delicate, detailed clutches and shiny mini pouches.
