Stock Controller

Would you like to join our busy warehouse team?
We are looking for a highly capable person with excellent  IT skills to manage our stock inventory. This role is on a full-time basis and is located at our warehouse in Bury St Edmunds.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Enter purchase details (suppliers information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases.
Create SKU and barcodes.
Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
Track shipments and address any delays.
Regularly liaise with our suppliers and follow up on faulty stock.
Manage reconciliation of delivery notes, purchase order and invoices.
Work with management on the stock taking cycle and accuracy of stock.
    Requirements:
    Working knowledge of inventory management software is preferable but not essential as training will be given. Would particularly suit someone with a business/logistic qualification.
    Flexible and reliable and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
    Efficient, well-organised whilst personable with the warehouse team and all key contacts, internally and externally.
    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
    Strong level of Excel and Microsoft.
    Full driving license.
